Microsoft has given a release date for the LIVE Vision camera people have been waiting for. The camera will be available on September 19th in both North America and Europe. The camera will allow personal GamerPics (that only those on your friends list can see) as well as video chat and picture messaging. Even better is the fact that all the preparations have been made so when it is released to update will be needed for the 360 or even your Windows XP PC. No word on pricing but rumor has it it will range between $20-$40 depending on whether you purchase just the camera or one that comes with a headset, month of LIVE and an Arcade game.

There have been no more details about the other accessories due out for this Holiday season but hopefully we’ll get more details soon.
