New ‘Halo 3′ Info…

The guys over at Xbox 360 Fanboy have received pictures of a ‘Halo 3‘ article from Level a Swedish publication detailing some interesting info on the highly-anticipated sequel.  The article has some great info on new weapons, vehicles, multiplayer action and controls.

Weapons:

• Spiker – A new weapon used by the Brutes.
• Spartan Laser – Nice weapon to take down vehicles
• Nail Grenade – Sticks to the walls/floors and delivers flying nails upon detonation.

Vehicles:

• Mongoose – The ATV that was cut from ‘Halo 2‘ due to balance issues appears to be making it’s debut

Other Notables:

• “Man Cannon” – Sure the name could use some work but it doesn’t change the fact you’ll be able to go cruising through the sky to cover ground faster.  You will be able to shoot while flying but can also be shot down.
• While the new function of the X button is still a mystery the issue of what will now be used to reload has been revealed.  The left bumper will reload the left weapon while the right bumper will, you guessed it, reload the right weapon.
• Rumblings of a very special 4 DVD “Legendary Edition.”  Now what could they put on that many discs?  Probably some great Red Vs. Blue content, a couple behind-the-scenes features and a collection of the cut-scenes from the game, perhaps even the whole trilogy.
