Back at E3 Microsoft announced their ambitious goal of getting 6 million users on LIVE by June 2007. According to a press release sent out early this morning they have reached that goal way earlier than expected!  Along with the amount of users on LIVE Microsoft also gave a couple more interesting facts.  Check these out:

• 300 million Achievements have been unlocked adding up to nearly 7.5 billion Gamerscore
• Since it’s launch in November 2002 LIVE has logged 2.3 hours (95 million days) of gameplay
• An average of 2,000,000 text and voice messages are sent each day
• 5 Billion MS Points have been activated to date
