Just a little behind bringing this news but thats what happens when you take a weekend trip. Anyways, today Microsoft announced some details about the spring dashboard update that is about a month away. Scheduled for May 7th the update will include these features as well as others:
- The dashboard will display the name of the game in your 360. This will work for Xbox 360 and original Xbox titles.
- Windows LIVE Messenger funtionality added to the 360
- New LIVE Marketplace blade will be added
- The “Achievement Unlocked” pop-up will show which achievement it was and how much it was worth
- Updated Family settings options
- And More…
Along with the dash update information they also announced a keyboard attachment to make the messenger functionality easier as well as sending the regular text messages. Major Nelson posted some pictures of this add-on HERE.
