EA has informed me of an update to Tiger Woods 08, which should fix the following problems…

Freezing Issues Caused by Cache Corruption/Fragmentation

This includes the Carnoustie Challenge freeze and the freezes after the first hole in any game mode. For those of you unable to get the update when it’s available, we are working to get manual workaround steps to prevent the freeze.

Online Game Ends When Player Disconnects

In 3 or 4 player matches, when one player disconnects this will no longer cause the game to end (instead the game will continue with the remaining players). The only time this is not the case is if the host leaves, in which case ending the game is the correct outcome.

Custom Challenges/GamerNet for Live Silver Users

Users with the ‘Silver’ level of Xbox Live will now be able to access GamerNet Challenges rather than only Live ‘Gold’ members.
