Rock Band Tour / Contest

Last week while strolling to class, I couldn’t help but hear the very loud noises and sounds coming from the “Union” at our university. As I got closer and closer, I could make out the words to “Say It Ain’t So” by Weezer. At that point it was pretty much impossible to miss the huge truck and set up for the Rock Band Tour.

Luckily, I had my camera, and quickly got to work for a mini review of the event. They had a main central stage set up where people could demo the game with an actual audience, and two more demo units set up inside the truck.

Yet, the coolest part of the entire outdoor performance besides just the audience was the fact that every single band that played was videotaped and given a card with a web site on it that would allow them to watch the performance online. To save myself from future embarrassment [see PAX video from GTR if you need further proof], I decided to not go on stage, but to instead see what they were handing out to visitors of the Tour.
