New Take-two studio: 2K Marion

Straight from the press-page for Take-Two Interactive Software, it has been announced that a new 2K games studio will be opening up in Novato, California. “2K Marin will develop original Intellectual Property (no word yet on what these may be) as well as co-develop projects with other Studios” according to 2K president, Christopher Hartmann.This brings into mind some great questions. If they are going to be developing some new IPs on the heels of the blockbuster hit Bioshock, I am quite excited to see what these may be after building on what they have learned. It has already been hinted before today that the team responsible for Bioshock was creating their own separate label within 2K to continue some new ideas they had. If this studio is them, then I’m excited!
