A little insider info from yours truly! Rockband.com is just about ready to re-launch their community site this afternoon. The new community site will no longer be a simple bland forums, but more of a “myspace” kind of place for your in game persona and bands as well! There are going to be a TON of new features, I’d outline them all, but to be honest, my list doesn’t make it clear whats public knowledge and whats not yet, so I don’t want to risk over doing it, hehJust sit tight and keep refreshing www.rockband.com!
(4:04 PM EST Update): The site is about to go live! The update will be kicking in within the next 1-2 hours! Here are some of the new features you can expect!
- Link your RockBand.com account to your Xbox Live gamertag or Playstation Network id to share your characters, bands, and high scores with your friends.
- Compare your high scores with the Rock Band community on the brand new Leaderboards!
- Make friends, write a blog, and post your pictures on your own personal RockBand.com page!
- Last but not least, the community forums that you’ve come to know and love return in all of their glory, with all of your posts intact!
