Undertow The Free "Apology" Game

We reported last month that since Xbox Live was down for the holidays, they were going to reimburse Xbox Live users with a free arcade game. I was under the impression that it was going to be some crappy retro game, but was very surprised to see one of my favorite arcade games listed instead. Undertow will be the free arcade game, and will be available next Wednesday for free [for a limited time]. So make sure to jump on next Wednesday, and download it before Sunday, or else your paying the regular 800 points for the game.

    Are you kidding me? The one game I have on my refurbished console that works without me being signed into Live (thanks to Daking and this site :) is the one they are giving out free?

    So pretty much I get no compensation from MS. What about people who bought this game already? Why not just offer some free points for everyone? I don’t get it. And the funny thing is that this afternoon I thought I was playing bankshot billiards, and trying to unlock some achievements but no…….I was unkowingly playing the trial version of BB2 b/c when I go into any game I am automaticaly signed out of Live!
