Tuesday Contest – Turok

By | January 29, 2008 | Xbox 360 |

What’s this… a game called Turok? Is it out yet? I don’t think so… 360Sync.com is giving it away early!?

Heres the deal, we are giving away Turok a day or 2 early, and all you need to do is answer a question[as usual]. Yet, this isn’t a game for the weak, so we suggest you do the following to prepare yourself…

First, Visit the marketplace and download the Rambo GamerPics / Theme. Then, make sure to actually see the movie. Wrapping up the perfect week, eat a giant steak for dinner, and finally sit down, and play some old school Turok. Can the week get any better? Of course it can, the demo for Turok was released today [Tuesday] on the marketplace, so you can prepare for the real game.

So, the question to win is… If you were to win Turok… how would you prepare? Answer below, and we will randomly pick 1 winner on Friday, shipped on Saturday, and in your hands a few days early. Enjoy!

Update 1: We will announce the winner soon!

  • http://podcasttw3nty3ight.blogspot.com Billy Fairchild

I would go about preparing for my free copy of Turok from 360sync.com in these steps.

    1. I would shower, and make sure I get amazingly fresh and clean in preperation of a good two days of straight gaming.

    2. I would visit 360sync.com to make sure I wasnt dreaming and that I REALLY won!

    3. I would head to the nearest grocery store and stock up on Mountain Dew and Dorito’s for game fuel.

    4. Once I returned home, I would check 360sync.com yet again to make sure I won yet again…

    5. I would pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming.

    6. I would call all of my gaming friends and brag about how 360sync.com HOOKED me up!

    7. I would IM DaKing and thank him very much!

    8. I would announce in my Podacast how I won a free copy of Turok, so everyone of my listeners would envy me, and I would demand they check out 360sync.com

    9. I would check 360sync.com once more to make sure I was really the winner.

    10. I would check my mail to find my new copy of Turok patiently waiting for me to rip it open and molests it’s graphics in pure HD……

    11. I would then enjoy a great gaming session sponsored by 360syn.com

I would play as much Halo3 as i could until I get the game because I wont have time to play it anymore once i own Turok!

  • erock

I’d stare at the tatoo I got when the last turok came out wishing I wouldn’t have done all that for a free game.

  • Ryan Noel

I would use up my whole weekend to complete COD4′s arcade mode to leave time to play my Turok.

  • K1cks

If I were to win Turok I would prepare by clearing out some of the backlog of games I’d have gather since my console died right before the end of the 360sync old spice challenge by opening the return box from Microsoft today and hooking it up to my 360 so that I could spend enough time getting it warmed up for the arrival of Turok in my mailbox I would then take pictures with my vision camera wearing my turok pre-order shirt and holding the demo disc after painting my face green to match the shirt and the awesome blades of grass found in turok :)

  • joel atiko

I would run naked on my neighborhood singing what’s my age again from blink 182

  • http://artificialintelegents.com/ Tray D

    Uhg!

First, I would sharpen my 8″ knife to be ready to disembowel Velociraptors, Giganotosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, or Carnotaurus.

Second, I would load any powder firing gun I could find on the ground, or any hand of a corps. Preferably some thing fresh. That would cue me to the fact that I would be close to some meat eating pray. Yummmm!

Third, I would prepare a fire to cook such a beast, and conk the women on the head to drag her in an effort to get her ready for the feast, and following celebration. Huba huba!!

Then I would be ready to hunt. Grrrrrrrryummmmm!

I would wait till night time, have a few beers and get in my dino hunting mood.

  • LeaveMeAlone117

If I won, I would prepare by getting a chair by my front door, wait for the delivery person, and have my 360 tray open to put the game in immediately.
    Instant gratification right there!

  • http://www.geminiace.com/ Gemini Ace

I would paint my face like Ahnold in Predator. Then yell really loud.

  • BlindMonkey00

It’s all about endurance when fighting in the jungle and it takes more than just some bug spray to survive. You need speed and endurance. I would put on my ultimate jungle gear (80′s basketball shorts/knee high socks and white wife beater) and start off by chasing a chicken in the backyard to work on my endurance, then after 2 minutes I would go inside bust out the 30 minute Richard Simmons Sweatin’ to the Oldies video. To gain some energy you need a quick boost and what better way than a giant slim jim to get you ready to taste those rex. It’s a jungle out there and you have to be ready!!!!

  • John S

    If I won Turok:

I would put on a headband and run around the brush in my backyard until somebody (hopefully not a cop) noticed me – then I would run into the distance singing the Final Countdown with my arms in the air. (Okay, I got some stallone movies crossed – big whoop – wanna fight about it?)

  • IrishGreenDeath

I will use sorcery to make it a snow day. On the way to the grocery store I will meet a Dilophosaurus. It leaps toward me , aimed precisely at the neck. But the silly creature will not see my 6 inch knife. I will then jump on the back of the Dilophosaurus, stab the knife through its neck(how ironic), and wipe my blade free of blood. I will then go buy some energy drinks and jerky all the while dodging the little Compsognathus nipping my ankles. I will then return home to check 360sync.com to see my winning status.

  • http://www.andymerrill.com/rantreview/ Jigsaw hc

    I’d watch Jurassic Park

  • RoastedVeggies

First off Id like to thank Devin for running these contests in the first place (just recieved my prize today Thanks!). Now onto my contest entry.

If i were to win Turok i would first rub it in all of my friends faces. Then I would hook my 360 up to m 60in HD tv and brace my eyes for HD impact. Finally as I waited for the game to arrive in the mail I would dress up like Turok himself and go into the woods near my house with a paintball gun, shooting my friends that I had just payed to dress up in dinosaur costumes while laughing my ass off.

  • http://dario.zgrablic.googlepages.com DjDATZ

Hmmm…probably run around in circles and go look at dinosaur weak-points so I know how to better kill them. :D

  • Matthew

If i find out i win on friday or saturday then on gameday, to prepare myself, i will turn on my tv and 360, open the game box, put the disc on the tray and close the tray, and then i should be ready to start playing

jk, well i would do that but seriously i would polish up my dinosaur hunting skills

  • John Soulimiotis

I would go paintballing, then bring the game to my friends house to do some mad fraggin!

  • http://TheGamersPub Jose Adrovet

I would name my first born son TUROK.

  • dynamik123

    Reload my weapon. :D

  • Neo Vex

I would prepare by finishing off 9th prestige on COD to leave time to relive my childhood on my 360. I’m new to 360sync and loving it.

  • KrazyNick

I would hook up the ole N64 and pop in the old turok to get me warmed up for big daddy Turok on Xbox 360. :)

  • http://brokenmirror360.22web.net/phpBB2/index.php Michael S

    1) I’d break out the Nintendo 64 and revisit the old Turok game, refreshing myself on the title.

    2) I’d then search the net, looking for as much info on this game as possible. I’d probably be most interested in the multiplayer aspect.

    3) I’d then double check my e-mail.

    4) I’d then write an e-mail to this sites owner, thanking them a million times.

    5) I’d give them my infoformation (probably twice, just in case)

    6) I’d wait for my game to arrive.

    7) I’d play it until my fingers bled.

    8) I’d play it some more.

    9) I’d e-mail the owner of this site again, thanking them

    10) I’d play the game some more.

    The end.

  • zabari

I would watch the Flintstones, Jurasic Park, and the old Dinosausers cartoon- and get ready to kill some dinos

  • Nick

How would I prepare? What a crazy questions.

The amount of preparation would be too much to stomach. First I’d have to go back to school to get a degree in archaeology. Then I’d have to start working out more and do a lot more fight training. After my daily steroid injections began I’d join the Army, that’s the only way to get proper sniper training. After the army and the 20 months I’ll likely spend in Iraq I think I’ll be ready.

  • http://thexboxdomain.net Hoosierdaddy812

I would probably prepare by watching all three Jurassic Park movies, because who doesn’t like Jurassic Park. I would then get dressed up in my full Turok costume and run around the neighborhood in nothing but a loin cloth in the 10 degree whether outside.

Who knows, I might actually get some gaming action in. Maybe catch up on some Orange Box goodness. Thanks, for the giveaway DaKing240.

  • http://www.squidpunch.com squidpunch

i would start by emailling daking over and over until he gets annoyed by my bothering and has to send me said free game.

  • Wriggy

I would camp next to my letterbox till it arrived… or just wait ;)
