Yes, we’re just a tad late with this, but you’ve still got lots of time to go in it. So without further adieu, here we go. On Thursday, Bizarre Creations (the makers of PGR 4 and Geometry Wars) announced two things: the release dates for The Club in various territories and a The Club Launch Competition. So here are the release dates for the Xbox 360 versions:

• Europe/Australia - Friday 8th February
• United States/Canada - Tuesday 19th February
• Russia - a fully localized Xbox 360 version will be released shortly after the PS3 version, which is due out Monday 18th February

Go play the demo out now on Xbox Live, and see how you like it.

Next, they also announced their Launch Competition. So what Bizarre wants you to do is play a level in the game and score as high as you can. Here are the details, straight from Bizarre:

• Aim: Get the highest score you can!
• Platform: Xbox 360 or PS3
• Location: Warehouse
• Route: Downtown Dash
• Difficulty: Insane
• Character: Any
• Closing date: Monday 31st March 2008

Once you’re finished with the level, go to the thread on their forums, and post your high score. Of course, you will need the full game as this level isn’t included in the demo. The highest scoring person from each platform (the Xbox 360 and the PS3, but not the PC, because there is no reliable way of verifying these scores) will be awarded a flurry of prizes:

• A signed copy of The Club
• A signed copy of PGR 4
• A signed copy of Geometry Wars Galaxies (Wii and DS)
• And other random additions like t-shirts and posters
