At GDC I was able to meet up with the founders of GameStrata. For those unaware, its a free website that is pretty much a "Facebook" for gamers. The system logs all your information from Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the Nintendo Wii, and on top of that provides statistics that you didn’t even know was possible.
GameStrata currently only supports a few titles per system, but during the interview, they explained that they were in talks to expanding the service. The most interesting part that I saw in this program was clan capabilities, which could be coming sometime in the next few weeks. With the software logging all types of data per game, if successfully done right, this may prove to be a huge hit for gamers.
Finally, the site also has forums, polls, and the other aspects that you would expect from such a site. The website is still rather new, so I’m not surprised to see only a few titles, but in the future, I expect to see many more games added to the library. Either way, take a look, and add my GamerTag "DaKing240!"
