More content has arrived at the Xbox Live Marketplace with the "Modern Metal Pack" for Guitar Hero III. It contains master recordings of Deftones’ “Hole in the Earth,” Avenged Sevenfold’s “Almost Easy” and Thrice’s “The Arsonist.”
Also, as I’m sure the reason you are reading this post, is some stuff associated with the word "free". That would be a special free track pack Activision is putting out to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. What kind of songs would they do this with you ask? Well Dropkick Murphys of course. The pack will include master recordings of “Famous for Nothing,” “Flannigan’s Ball” and “Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya.” This pack will be free to download in mid-march.

Hell yeah, Deftones! Too bad I don’t have GH but it’s still nice to see the Deftones getting some love. Wish it would of been a different song though..
Nothing interesting. I am really upset with what Activison has done with GH3, they could atleast release GOOD songs if they are going to continue charging 500pts per pack.
I think I am going to skp on future GH installments
F.Y.I. I’m probably just going to get the free pack, because, well, its free…
Way to go naming it “Modern Metal”. More like “shitty emo rock/nu metal pack”.
500 points for emo music? LOL – thank goodness I never bought GH3.
2nd the free idea-thread… can’t think of a reason to not download those tracks. Out of kindness I’ll *look* at the songs to purchase, but I won’t buy; not a sucker.
