Hey everyone, just thought I’d let all the Mass Effect players know, the Bringing Down the Sky DLC has been live since this morning. It was launched this morning at 2AM PST (5AM EST) for 400 Microsoft Points and adds on the ability to get another 50 Gamerscore and 1 achievement from the game. (Canadians obviously have the choice of downloading an English or Français [French] versions of the DLC.) The most important thing abut this DLC is that it adds a new race to the the game, the Batarians. They are considered to be one of the most ruthless races in the Mass Effect, have been mentioned in Mass Effect: Revelation, but were not included in the full game.

As I announced previously, I’ll be live blogging my playthrough tonight for those that want to join in and get in on the story. Note: The live blogging of course will include spoilers, so readers beware!

Now go bring down the sky on ‘dem Batarians!
