Earlier yesterday, 2 news Game-Of-The-Year editions were announced to be coming to the Xbox 360. One, is something you’d expect, while the other is pretty much completely out-of-the-blue. As you can see above, the two games in question are Call of Duty 4, the expected one, and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, the unexpected one.

Activision announced that Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition would be coming to the Xbox 360 on April 1st. It will feature the same game released in November 2007, with an additional download token (read: code) for a download of the upcoming Variety Map Pack from Xbox Live. The Variety Map Pack will feature 4 new maps, and will be released on Xbox Live on April 3rd for 800 Microsoft Points as an Xbox 360 exclusive for 21 days. Two GameStop locations will also be hosting a special preview event of the Variety Map Pack on March 28th, 5 days prior to the release of the new maps. Essentially, if you own the game already, just get the maps, but if you don’t here’s your chance to pick up both the game and the new maps.

Next up, Microsoft announced that Dreamfall: Game of the Year Edition will be hitting the Xbox Originals on this upcoming Monday, March 24th. Considered an adventure game, this title has received multiple awards from the “former” E3 for being the best title in its genre. This title will launch for the normal price of 1200 Microsoft points.

Now go and download whatever tickles your fancy! Of course, you will have to wait till they come out.
