Final Update: The Heroic Map Pack is now free! Jay900 says so and so does Bungie!
During Bungie’s latest Bungie Weekly Update, they revealed more details about the Legendary Map Pack, including a sweet overhead view of Avalanche that includes all the standard weapon spawns. Okay, enough with that, and onto the real subject of this post. Keeping to their promise from before about map packs becoming free when the next ones release, they also announced that as of 2 AM PST on March 25th, 2008, the Heroic Map Pack would become free. It includes 3 sweet maps called Standoff, Foundry, and Rat’s Nest. So go and get your download on! Now you have no excuse not to have these maps!

Update 1: According to one of our readers, Jay900, the pricing has yet to change from 800 Microsoft Points to 0 Microsoft Points.
