The makers of Darwinia and Multiwinia, Introversion Software, announced today via their forum that we’ll be getting both Darwinia and Multiwinia this "autumn" on Xbox Live Arcade.  It will be packaged under the name of Darwinia+ (similar to the nomenclature style of N and N+) and will feature both Darwinia and Multiwinia within.  This will be Introversion’s first outing on a console, and they did mention that the launch of Xbox Live Arcade made this opportunity possible. Included after the break are a whole load of screenshots of Darwinia.

This will most likely come in as at price of 800 Microsoft Points, which is already a bargain if you consider that the full version of Darwinia for the PC costs $20 USD.  We’re definitely looking forward to this release!
