GTA IV Gets a Perfect 10 from OXM UK

About a week ago, our friends over at Xbox360Fanboy.com (X3F) posted about GTA IV’s first ever review.  The magazine in question was the Official Xbox Magazine UK, and they were mighty impressed with GTA IV.  In fact, they were so amazed with Rockstar‘s latest addition to the Grand Theft Auto series that they gave it a perfect score, not something that happens often.  They were playing an early build of the game, and there were some quirks with the cover system and some pop-up, but it was suspected that this would be polished in the final released of the game.  Other than those very minor problems, GTA IV received nothing but great praise.

There are sections on singleplayer, multiplayer, weapons, vehicles, missions and a ton of ‘other’ goodness including a whole load of screenshots.  One of the most important things they mention is regarding the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV and it’s exclusive DLC.  They said that they talked to the guys at Rockstar about it, and all they managed to get out was that the DLC would be about 10 hours of more gameplay.  They mention other things as well but the review is probably best summed up by this quote:

"It’s here. And it’s even better than you were expecting."
