In an interview of one of the game’s lead designers, Gametap has dug into some of the details on the new Madden. The interview gives the impression that they may be adding enough new and perfecting enough old to make this a year to pick it up. One would hope so, as it is the 20th anniversary.

The features include this thing called Real Football Intelligence. It has an adaptive A.I. to set the game to play at your level, showing you what you did wrong, and other useful information. They are also claiming that the visuals are a huge jump as well. Tom Hammond and Cris Collinsworth are the new announcers for play-by-play and color commentary. Also, for the first time, there is going to be full 32 team leagues available for you and your friends to play through full seasons, all the way to the Super Bowl.
