E3 – The Sad Reality

E3, once the largest gaming convention, now seems to be becoming a shell of what it used to be. In a great post by Chuck over at GamingNexus, he examines the list of companies that are currently attending this upcoming E3. Take a look for yourself…

Notice anyone missing? One giant company that "rocks out" especially when "called to duty" should come to mind. Activision.

It turns out Activision isn’t going to be having a booth at this year’s E3 convention. Is this delaying the inevitable as conventions such as GDC and PAX pick up steam? Time will tell, and we may be able to make a prediction at the conclusion of this year’s E3 convention.

We are still trying to figure out where Sierra Online / Vivendi Games is on this issue, since the merger with Activision is taking place as we speak.
