And Dan to answer your question, no, I hate NASCAR, its a degradation of "racing." Formula 1 and other races that do REAL tracks that include left AND RIGHT turns are real racing.
I'm most definitely not trying to start anything but technically nascar does have 3 races a year that include right turns…lol and I only knew that because my girlfriend was born and raised in Daytona and she loves that shit.
LOL…So how many races do they have per year? like 20-30? So between 10 and 15% of their races contain right turns. LOL No offense to you and your girl, but that's sad. LOL
There's a reason why I can't wait for Codemasters to release their F1 game to the 360 in 2009. We need some REAL racing on the 360. (Well, Forza's awesome real. :D)
Edit: And no, I'm not trying to start anything either, I'm just displeased at the fact that it still exists. If it were for me, all oval tracks (other than speed testing tracks) would be scrapped and rebuilt into real race tracks.
Then again, all of this is just my opinion. :P
Nascar is REAL racing. I mean, we've had 2-4 "F1" drivers come to Nascar within the pass couple of years and none of them have done extremely well. Juan Pablo…lol, he's a joke. Franchitti and there are a couple other ones…so if F1 is real racing why is it they have such a hard time in Nascar….because clearly, it's not REAL racing.
If you count Tony Stewart, then yet, we've had one successful indy car driver…but I only say that because he's my favorite driver.
But, that's just my opinion….
EDIT: lol…I wasn't trying to make that sound hafeful, man. I re-read my post and it does sound like I'm being hateful. I'm a big fan of Nascar….always have been, always will be. When someone talk about them, I have to stand up for them :) No hard feelings.
