File this under rumors and speculation, but some tipsters have pointed out that Halo Gamefuel commercials have started airing on Comedy Central (and/or Adult Swim) again. Is this foreshadowing, or a cruel joke to gamers worldwide?
For those unaware, Halo Gamefuel was the temporary drink that was made for Mountain Dew. Yet gamers and non-gamers enjoyed the citrus-cherry taste, and possibly the 120mg of caffeine in every 20 ounce bottle. Which was completely necessary for the launch of Halo 3, agreed? Where was the GTA Gamefuel when we needed it?
We are awaiting a response from Pepsi / Mountain Dew to see if they are re-releasing it, so we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop. Has anyone seen them in stock at any stores by chance lately?

GAMEFUEL IS MAKING A COME BACK. I AM NOT SURE OF AN OFFICAL RELEASE DATE BUT I CAN GET ONE IF NEEDED
I've heard mainly negative opinion on the taste so I can't say whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. To be honest though, the fact that such a thing is possible in what used to be a fringe market is only a good sign.
Being in New Zealand I have no idea what it tastes like as we have never received it, anything cherry is good though…
i saw a fridge for them here in toronto, canada back when halo 3 was launching…but i never got to see or try the drink itself…lol
I loved this stuff so I wish it does come back. I hope they make a Diet version this time though.

Gamefuel was probably the best Mountain Dew I have had so far. What I also liked is that if you were lucky, you could find the Gamefuel that is like a beer can so you have to open it with a bottle cap opener.
The drink was pretty good and I hate Citrus! I drank to much of it and grew tired of it….I still have three or four cases of it that I havent opened yet…maybe one day
Pick up a can of AMP Overdrive (A Mtn Dew product) and mix it with Mtn Dew 3 parts Dew to 1 part AMP. Tastes amazingly like Game Fuel. I am using this to assuage my Game Fuel thirst till it reappears. Notice that I am not addicted or anything…I can quit anytime I want to. No really I can…really….
I had recently saw and bought 5 bottles of this stuff at a local Walgreens with it featuring world of warcraft on it also with the traditional flavor was a new blue flavor(however to me the original tastes better) however the taste still lives on with its massive rush of energy.
