By Jimmy Buffett fans rejoice, as the announcement was just made that 3 songs will be making its way to Rock Band this week along with the previously announced Disturbed content.
Buffett fans—better known as Parrotheads—can imagine they’re nibbling on sponge cake and watching the sun bake as they play along to three of Jimmy’s biggest and best: “Margaritaville,†“Cheeseburger In Paradise†and “Volcano.†A big believer in the game, Buffett re-recorded all three songs exclusively for inclusion in Rock Band. Each Buffett track will be available for $1.99 per track (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360®) or $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for the three-pak.
Will this break the curse that has kept me away from Rock Band for the past month? Possibly so, as I am looking forward to loading up some songs, pouring myself a hurricane, and playing at 5 a clock… somewhere.
Also, along with Jimmy Buffett, the previously announced Disturbed songs – “Indestructible†and “Inside The Fire,” and a third new track, “Perfect Insanity,” will be available for $.99 per track (80 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for a limited time, or $2.99 (240 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for the three-pak.
