Guitar Hero: Metallica Confirmed

In 2009, Guitar Hero: Metallica will be released, along with some other titles from Activision including the first James Bond game for next generation consoles, which shares the name of the upcoming movie – Quantum of Solace.

So how did we stumble on this information? We received a tip earlier today that Activision published a list that included these games, among some others. We investigated, and sure enough, we found it…

The other confirmed titles include Madagascar, Escape 2 Africa, Monsters vs Aliens and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and Call of Duty 5.

    MEH! Guitar Hero is meh since Neversoft took over and I am not a fan of Metallica or of charging $60 for a game that only have one artist in it. Activison and Neversoft are running GH into the ground by releasing these stupid EXPANSIONS and the Rock band ripoff.

    I don't see myself spending $60 for a game with just Metallic on it. Not that I hate the band or anything, but seems to me to be a definite rental only. Much like the Aerosmith version.
    A new Bond game would be nice to have, and hopefully COD5 will stick with what made COD4 awesome. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 would be cool since the first one was fun.

    Why did they have to release a whole game of Metallica? Why not just put a DLC Album or something? You know why…because they're greedy…lol. I'm semi-excited about this I suppose, I love all the music gerne type games….so I'll probably end up getting it anyways.

    As for the other games, MUA 2 is on the top of my list above almost every other game coming out. CoD5 will be good I'm sure and Monster vs. Aliens sounds neat, but as for Madagascar…I'll pass, lol.

    A whole game dedicated to Metallica….wow, I'm really really going to hate trying to get all of the achievements for it.
