Gamecock has just sent us these screens from Legendary, the upcoming game where Pandora’s Box is opened again, and all of it’s evils have been let loose.
Legendary tells the story of Charles Deckard, an art thief who is duped into stealing Pandora’s Box. When the box is opened, he releases hordes of beasts thought to be fictional – such as werewolves and gryphons – into an unprepared modern world. A full scale war between man and myth begins, and it is quickly complicated by the actions of powerful secret societies. As the person responsible for releasing this terror, Deckard’s unwittingly become the only person capable of containing it once more and saving civilization from being destroyed by the terrifying creatures of the box.
So, how do they look?

Reminds me of the Unreal 3 engine but I have no clue. Worth doing some research on.
Well it looks beautiful, and the premise is cool so I'll look forward to getting more updates on this… I was curious to see what engine it was running under, but apart from their website mentioning it is capable of things like entire skyscrapers being destroyed it doesn't say much else.
Is this a proprietary engine, or some other next-gen engine?
If you look at their site and click copyrights and platforms, the unreal logo pops up at the bottom of the screen.
Ah, it's always the simple things you forget to check… Thanks!
I played the game about two months ago in New York City, it had a decent amount of bugs but it was only in alpha mode, it will probably come around when it gets closer to release day.
Hmmm…the environments look gorgeous, but I can't say as much for the creatures, the guns or the hands holding the guns…
