Pre-Order Gears of War Replicas

The replicas from TriForce are now available for pre-order.  I had posted about this yesterday in our forums to see what people thought of the outrageous prices.  The Lancer is available for $949.99 and the Locust head will run you a pretty $549.99.  No word on the full set of armor but from the current prices I wouldn’t be surprised to see that thing end up around $3000.  What do you guys think of the prices?

    The prices are a little on the ridiculous side… I feel odd enough spending $10 on little Halo action figures, I don't know how I'd live with myself spending $1,000.00 on a fake gun.

    I had plans to buy the lancer gun when it came out, but I was expecting it to be in the 400$-500$ range…

    Yea, definitely a no-buy for me. lol Maybe I'd pay $1000 for it if it actually WORKED. lol
