Welcome to the happy edition of , where we have two possible winners in our midst. One, a simple yet mind-bending co-op game, and the other, a more relaxing, Hot Shots Golf type game. Do both really stack up? (Let’s just say, for the correct audiences, it’s a resounding yes!)

Schizoid is a game with a very simple concept. There are two ships, one blue, and one red. The blue ship can’t touch the red baddies, and destroys the blue ones by touching them, and the red ship is exactly the opposite. It starts out simple, but slowly and surely gets more difficult. You control one ship, and the other is either controlled by the A.I. (which is the worst way IMO), a co-op partner, which is pretty fun, and with your other hand. That’s right, in the ubershizoid mode, you control one with the left stick, and one with the right, and this is where the mind-bending comes in. It is a blast though, and you should definitely check it out. It may not be for everyone, but everyone should at least try it.

The other XBLA game this week is Golf: Tee it Up, and it reminds me a lot of Hot Shots Golf. The is a fairly fun and easy to get into golf game here, with decent cartoonish graphics. There is also a good amount of precision to be had for the golf game experts, plenty of fun to be had on 36 unique holes, and 4 player online and offline multiplayer. The only thing I don’t like is on the Xbox.com page, they already have planned dlc, but it’s not a huge deal to me.

Both games this week are worth a look, for some only one may appeal, or even none, but for the right audiences, both games seem to be good choices for your 800 points.
