Afro Samurai Kicks Out A Release Date

Yesterday, Namco Bandai Games sent us word that they have a release date for Afro Samurai Resurrection.  It will be hitting store shelves on January 27th, 2009. Based on the original anime series, it features two of acting’s very famous voices: Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Afro and his wisecracking sidekick, ninja ninja, and Lucy Liu. The music and the beat affect the enemy’s AI, and was put in the very capable hands of The RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan.  Afro Samurai also sports a “cross-hatch art style” that suits the game very well, and as I’m sure you’ll agree from the multitude of screenshots and various images that we were given, looks really good too.
