Already a top-selling game in Europe, SBK: Superbike World Championship is coming to our 360’s here across the pond. Due out in October, this game aims to gives us North Americans a taste of two-wheeled fun that mostly happens in Europe. This is the fully licensed game of the HANNspree Superbike World Championship, meaning that we’ll get access to all of the teams, riders and tracks that race in real life. This game was originally developed by Black Bean for the European Market but is now being published by Conspiracy Entertainment. Since Europe is where motorsports originated, it only seemed fair to release it there earlier, on July 29th, 2008 precisely; however oddly enough, this game was released in Australia even before that: on June 26th, 2008. Conspiracy Entertainment claims is intended for “motorsports simulation veterans, hardcore gamers and arcade-racing fans.” This announcement is like a direct answer to my question on Twitter about a week ago.
Along with the announcement we were also sent some screenshots that show how realistic this game looks.
