By Included in the upcoming 360 dash overhaul is the ability to install any of your 360 games to the hard-drive, this will supposedly reduce load times, keep the disk in a better condition and eliminate the sound of the drive spinning up in the console (arguably the most annoying part of a 360).
Someone seems to have gotten their hands on the new dash early (maybe an internal source) and included in the video below is the full install process so you can see for yourself, they’ve demoed it using Grand Theft Auto IV, while there is a fade to black so we don’t know how long it takes, we do know it took up 6.8GB of space on the hard-drive after the installation.
