Straight from the Canadian Xbox.com Forums, we’ve got the announcement for the date and time of X’08!  Here’s a countdown for you, courtesy of the crew over at ReadyUpLive.com.  I will be attending as well as some of the Canadian community’s well known faces such as Greenskull and Sinnix.  Safe to say as well, the venue is one of my favorites in Toronto.

I always get a little giddy this time of year. The air is getting cooler, the days are getting shorter … and that can only mean one thing. X’08 is just around the corner!

Xbox Canada’s annual, ultimate gaming preview event, X’08 Canada, is being held this Thursday, August 21 in downtown Toronto from 5-8pm.

As Xbox Canada has done in previous years, the doors are being thrown open and we’re inviting members of our great Canadian Xbox community to come and check out unreleased games from Microsoft Game Studios and 3rd-party publishers like THQ, Activision, EA, Warner Bros. and many others.

For a chance to score an invite, send an e-mail to me at Jade@Microsoft.com with the following info:

• Your Gamertag
• Your age
• Your e-mail address

Fine print:
Spaces are limited, so get your e-mail in soon! If you are under 18, you will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult over 21. You will receive an e-mail back from me confirming that you have received a pass — this e-mail will serve as your “ticket” to get into the event.
