We just got word from LucasArts that the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo smashed previous records on both online networks! Just for your records, the demo was released on August 21st, so all these numbers refer to that as the launch date. On Xbox Live, the demo hit 1 million downloads in 8 days, a day quicker than the previous demo! Combining the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network downloads, The Force Unleashed demo has been downloaded a total of 2.3 million times worldwide!
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is due out on store shelves on the 16th of September in North America, the 17th in Southeast Asia and Australia, and the 19th in Europe.
