The New Xbox Experience Details Galore!

We’ve all heard about The New Xbox Experience (to be referred to as NXE) and witnessed the PR magic that claims this update will greatly improve your fun with the Xbox 360.  But do you believe it? Well, we’ve got a fair bit of information for you regarding the update to keep you better informed about what you’ll be getting into in, hopefully, less than a month.

First, DirtyDiva (showing us some love) posted the first of a series of “Everything You Need To Know” informational posts about the NXE.  This one specifically deals with the games and their achievements sections.  For each game you’ve played you’ll get a separate card will fan out and let you check out the achievements specifically for that game.  What we want to know is if the 360 will get bogged down too much if you have too many games played.

Also, a little while ago X3F posted about TechRadar.com having an “Everything you need to know about the Xbox 360 dashboard update” post, which had a lot of information.  This is mostly for people that don’t know almost anything about the NXE, so we’d suggest starting there first.  It covers what it really is, why it’s happening, avatars, and what if you don’t want it.  It’s really solid information that is right to the point, and it’s an easy read too.

Both these posts contain a heap of information, so take a bit of time to get through them both.  If you want to discuss the NXE even further, hear others opinions on it, and even vote in a poll, we’ve got a topic about it on our forums! Enjoy!
