Canadian GOW2 LE Missing English Hardcover Art Book!

From two friends on Twitter, I’ve been alerted to this problem!  Via Joystiq from the Epic Games forums, users are reporting (read: complaining) that the Canadian Gears of War 2 Limited Edition comes with a French hardcover artbook and the English artbook is a flimsy softcover book.  Gamers are obviously distraught about this and have been submittig the thread to various gaming and Xbox 360 sites abroad in hopes of Microsoft and Epic noticing and deciding on a course of action.  Some users have even said that they’ve been able to return the game to the stores they purchased it in, arguing that this was not what they paid for, and have been successfully returning the Limited Edition. (In Canada, there is a copyright protection law that prohibits stores from taking any software back if the box has been opened. I guess in this case there could be an exception.)  Mark Rein has even stepped into the thread claiming that, himself also being a Canadian, would find this unacceptable, and has emailed Microsoft to let them know about this.

I was personally looking into getting a Limited Edition, but after this, I think I’ll hold off to see what the official response is.
