Lips “Take On Me” Commercial

We just saw the “Take On Me” commercial for Lips, and wanted to share it with you all. I thought it was a pretty effective commercial, but I have to wonder how many people are interested in this game, especially since Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2 are already being sold in stores. Either way, great commercial. Has anyone seen this commercial on the air yet?

The commercial is pretty cool but I can't say I will be picking this game up. The commercial is a step up from the strange print ads:

I think this game is reaching for an interesting demographic–something that offers up more songs to sing from the pop-genre (and generally just other than rock songs), but without feeling like a woman and buying American Idol.

The commercial is creepy but the fact that the song is epicly win makes this commercial win

Well, honestly, my old roomie (who is a fanatic for karaoke) would love this game. However, he's an old man. Lately I'm not really getting much use out of the microphone on Rockband 2 so I will probably let this game go to the intertubes to review and then poop out just like a few other games that I "HAD to HAVE" at the time.
