Halo 3 Recon = Halo 3: ODST

Yes, that’s right. We’ve just received a tip about the upcoming expansion of Halo 3 dubbed Halo 3 Recon. Well, turns out, the game will no longer be called Halo 3 Recon, but will instead be called Halo 3 ODST.  And yes, it’s true because both Major Nelson and Bungie say so.  Anyone interested in Halo 3 ODST? Personally, I’m interested how the lack of shields will play out, as you will be technically much, much weaker, especially against the Brutes and other Covenant species.  Oh and make sure you nab the Halo 3 “Recon” wallpaper, as now, it’s a collectors item.  They’ve even made the official page on Xbox.com!
