Last night, I had the privilege of attending a party hosted by called the “.”  Hosted at the oasi, this event was more of a social and mingling event.  Jade even said that this event was more made to bring couples to events; apparently I wasn’t aware of this part, probably due to me missing something.  There were 2 games that were recently released by Game Studios and a load of couches for people to sit and relax on.  These were and , making the social atmosphere even more fun, but still competitive at the same time.  There was also a 360 sporting just the NXE where people could make fun avatars, and another 360 that was sporting an arcade game that used the Vision cam.

Having Zune Social in the official event name, there were also a bunch of Zunes to play around with.  I even played around with the Zune of War (also known as the Official Gears of War Zune), and it seemed like a pretty cool gadget, unfortunately overshadowed by my personal iPhone.  On display along with , was Keadin’s Zune connected to the 360 so he and others could sing, albeit, everyone was doing better than him.

The biggest shocker at this event was the girl to guy ratio which was near 1 to 1, or so it seemed.  Granted, the emphasis on the event was the social aspect, which kind of made sense. It was nowhere near close to the Fable 2 Launch or the Gears of War 2 Launch, but it was much more social, which was greatly welcomed.

Thanks go out to Jade, and the team for organizing the event! I had a blast!
