By We here at 360Sync try our best to bring you everything in a timely manner whether it’s our news, contests/giveaways, responses and interactions, improvements and even problems with the site. This, also includes picking of our winners for the contests and shipping out their prizes. Occasionally, we do make mistakes since we are human (or are we?).
Such a mistake happened when I was sending off emails to the winners of the Namco Museum Virtual Arcade Contest. Instead of sending an email off to the fourth winner Jason, I accidentally copied the email address for ThisIsTheEnd21 and sent the email to him. Luckily for me, he was honest and replied back to me saying that he didn’t think he was the winner. I checked and realised I had in fact made a mistake, and proceeded to correct it.
I felt bad for getting ThisIsTheEnd21 for getting his hopes up and I also wanted to reward him for being honest, because in today’s day and age, that is rare. So, I sent him a thank you email with a download code for Fable 2 Pub Games. This isn’t a precedent for catching a mistake, but it’s just to show that honesty is worth it. Thanks to everyone here for being such a great community!
