I'm willing to put up with the control issues because of the beautiful graphics and the challenge. So few games are actually challenging anymore. I miss the days of having to actually put the controller down and think of a strategy to help me beat some boss, or clear some level. Nowadays it's mostly just mindless nonstop easy gameplay. It turns you into a zombie.

If that happens to you, you should start being more careful. Don't want to get shot. I hear people don't like zombies.

This game is a graphic wonder. The scenery and textures are beautiful. The only thing going bad for this game is a few things with the controls. Like not being able to move while you take aim, and having to stand still to reload. Even with your knife out you can only stay in one spot. Now I know they did that to make the game "close quarters" and all but it would help if I could WALK while a army of zombies charge me just a tinny bit.

But it does have this going for it...It is NOT an easy game, I found myself being challenged almost the entire time. Having to check my flanks constantly, making sure my shots count, checking my ammo consistently ( Nothing triggers the panic button like being in a room full of zombies with no ammo! ) And other than a few hiccups with the controls the game played smooth and exiting. A classic RE game from the git' go that I'm sure will be played for days on end.

Well, after failing miserably the first time through (damn you Dead Space control scheme), I played both scenarios and am so ready for this game. It didn't wow me, probably because I've seen these levels in videos so often. But it really does look gorgeous. For under half a gb, it plays very slick and smooth. March can't come soon enough.

Downloading now, so I clearly haven't played it yet. But I'm surprised to see how small it is. Most demos usually run between 3/4 of a gb, and a little over 1 gb (Skate 2 clocked in at 1.51 I believe). But under .5 gb? And it supposedly looks that good? Either it's really short, or they've found some way to make games beautiful without taking a huge chunk of space.

Either way, I'm pretty darn excited now. This made my day.
