By Valve has just announced a couple details about the downloadable content planned for the zombie apocalypse title ‘Left 4 Dead.’ The Survival Pack which is set to release this spring features a new multiplayer mode called Survivial along with two brand new multiplayer versus campaigns. Along with the DLC a Critics Choice Edition of the game will be heading to retail shleves which will contain all of the downloadable content. PC gamers will get a small bonus in the availability of a SDK allowing them to create their own campaigns and share them with other players via matchmaking. The SDK will be available for free to all owners of ‘Left 4 Dead’ on the PC. No pricing information was available for the Survival Pack.
Being a big fan of ‘Left 4 Dead’ I personally hope we see a mall level included, because you just can’t have a zombie apocalypse without some action at the local shopping center.
