So you see an arcade game whose trial has you addicted to the game, and you want to buy it right away. (cough-Peggle) However, you don’t have enough Microsoft Points to buy it right away. It’s late and going to the store would require you to wait until the next day, and quite frankly, you just can’t wait. You then decide to add your credit card to your account so you can buy the Microsoft Points via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Once purchased, you want to remove your credit card from your account just to be safe.
Herein was the hitch: removing a credit card used to be significantly harder than adding it. You used to have to call Xbox Support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX and waste a fair bit of your time on the phone with something that is actually quite trivial.
But now, according the Unscripted360, you can remove credit cards from your account on your own! Finally! To get there go to the My Xbox section on Xbox.com, click Manage Profile, click Manage Payment Options, find the credit card and click Remove! It’s so easy now!
