Eidos has just released new screenshots for their upcoming title, Mini Ninjas.

In a far corner of the empire the Ninja Master realizes something has gone terribly wrong, the balance of nature has become disturbed. Unaware that an old nemesis has returned, he knows for sure he must protect the balance of nature due to a sworn oath. After sending his best Ninjas on the journey to discover the source of the storms, only to have them never return. He is then forced to send out the only two Ninjas left in the village, two that he would have never considered on such a quest considering the circumstances. Hiro, the youngest of Ninjas whom has not even completed training, and his best friend Futo the largest (and slowest).

Hiro and Futo are forced to embark on a journey to get to the bottom of this mystery, find their lost friends and perhaps even face the Evil Warlord himself in the fortress of doom.

The latest screens are of Hiro, the hammer wielding Futo, and musical Suzume as they battle in the snowy mountain filled valley.

While there is no official release date be on the lookout for Mini Ninjas to hit the shelves for your 360 this coming Fall.
