We recently visited EA Montreal alongside some other community sites including Unscripted360, Gamertag Radio, and Konsole Kingz. While at the event we learned a lot of new details regarding Army of Two: The 40th Day. First off, make sure to hold onto your save files from the original Army of Two. No reasons have been given yet, but you will be able to import something.
Part 1 of our interview series is with Matt Turner, the executive producer of the title. Due to a few editing problems, we decided to embed the entire interview.
Before the interview, we were able to watch a hands-on demo with Matt, and learned some details for the new title. The game takes place solely in Shang-Hai, and the game will put a larger emphasize on working together, in co-op play.
Highlights of the interviews include:
- Release date is expected after the holiday season.
- No demo plans yet.
- No parachutes in this version
- Characters are improved, new tattoos
- This game will features doors, obstacles that you can interact with
- No Region Locked problems
- Much improved GPS system, and AI (which will be covered in our next segment)
