We all knew it was coming. Previously we had hosted the 360Sync Gamerscore Challenge through 360Voice, and over the 1 week it was on, we had quite a bit of success with it. We had a total of 22 participants who put a whopping total Gamerscore increase of 17,480 GS! Congratulations go out to TehSheeple for winning the Challenge, and he won a copy of A Kingdom for Keflings from Shane! To everyone else that participated, we salute you dear community, for being so hardcore!
The Challenge did bring about one funny event though, which extended past the Challenge. In an attempt to get ahead, one of our community members, Donski, popped in Hannah Montana: The Movie (but, it’s actually the video game…) to pick up a relatively easy 1000 GS. Jokes on our Forums ensued, to which Donski was challenged to write a Reader Review of game and to temporarily change his avatar to the image below. Being the bigger man in the situation, he obliged to both requests.

And here’s the review!
Reader Review of Hannah Montana: The Movie (The Video Game) by Donski:
Warning: This review contains spoilers. I doubt anyone will care.
If you’re like me, you’ve spent many a sleepless night wondering how Miley Cyrus balances her double life of international superstar Hannah Montana and regular down-to-Earth girl Miley. I’ll let you in on a little secret: she just takes off her wig. Apparently, Billy Ray Cyrus wonders this, too. After you finish the required Tutorial and first concert, you find yourself back on her farm in Tennessee. Billy thinks that Miley’s fame has gone to her head, and that she needs a reality check. I’d say he’s right, because the first thing I did after the cut scene was steal everything I could from my Grandma’s house. A girl needs to decorate her tour bus, right? After this, I went outside, built a chicken coop, and rode a horse to the point of exhaustion (for a cool 50GS!). Not too shabby for 10 minutes work. There’s also a clear, budding romance between Miley and some cowboy outside her house that may, or may not, be related to her.
At this point, we get to the real meat and potatoes of the plot. Our small, quaint town is going to be urbanized by a shopping mall (which I’m sure Miley would secretly love), and it’s up to us to save it! The mall owner said it best: “Nothing can save your town now, unless an international superstar shows up!†From here on out, everything was a blur of an inexplicable trip to the fair, a college, and awesome concerts.
Speaking of concerts, this is by far the most challenging thing in the game. One needs to know how to dance, sing, drum, and play guitar. Luckily, these are all done on a standard controller. Honestly, you can just kind of randomly fiddle with the controller and still do pretty well. They don’t make you five-star Raining Blood on Expert.
The remainder of the game is divided up between walking back and forth for various items, and playing carnival games. Admittedly, the carnival games are actually decently fun…Or maybe it’s just a problem with my frame of reference. Some extras of the game include buying hundreds of articles of clothing, and being able to customize them in many different ways.
Overall, I’d say that this is definitely the game for all you hard-core Hannah Montana enthusiasts. If nothing else, it’s an easy 1000/1000 for anyone who isn’t too embarrassed to have it on their gamercard.
Thanks for the review Donski! If you’re interested in gaming with Donski, his gamertag is Donski3. Keep your eyes peeled for some more Reader Reviews coming soon!
