For the first time since 2003 ‘NCAA Football 10‘ will include the TeamBuilder feature, allowing you to create any high school, college or made up school you want. This feature will let you pick the school name, location, colors and even details of it’s uniforms, field and stadium. You’ll be able to choose from a ton of preselected logos, including all Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA) schools, or even create your own. Uniforms allow for equal custom options all the way down to logo placement and the arrangement of stripes on your team’s helmets. All of this customization will be done through a web editor allowing you to easily get started, make changes and update your roster’s stats. What makes it even better is that the teams can be shared with everybody. TeamBuilder will launch about one month before the game’s July 14th street date. For a video preview of TeamBuilder check out this EA video.
I know I’m really excited for this feature and will be spending the very first day it’s available bringing my Appalachian State Mountaineers to life. I have a feeling this may be the only way they get invited back to the Big House.
