Fans of Fallout 3 will be happy to know that 2 new DLC expansion packs were announced today, including:

  • Point Lookout – Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.
  • Mothership Zeta – The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.

Point Lookout will be available in late June, while Mothership Zeta is scheduled for release in late July, and both will cost 800 points (or $9.99) each.

Don’t have Xbox Live, and still want to get in on the new DLC?

The Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1, which includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage will be available at retail for the Xbox 360 on May 26, and the Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2, which includes Broken Steel and Point Lookout will be available for the Xbox 360 August.

Finally, a Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be available in October. It will include the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360.

Point Lookout will be available for demo at the upcoming E3, so look for our impressions when that comes.
