Let’s get one thing straight: RSS feeds rarely lie. In this case, and it isn’t the first time either, someone on the Xbox Live team was a bit too eager about Mass Effect coming to Games on Demand. So much so, that it was posted publicly, and while no one probably caught it while it was up, the Xbox.com Marketplace RSS still managed to pick it up.
Add to that, the posting itself also reveal another very interesting thing about Games on Demand: game manuals. Every title will come with an electronic game manual, available to you, from what the text suggests (and this is my personal interpretation), potentially before you purchase the game. This would be pretty interesting in that you could read up about the story of the game, take in the control scheme and get a better feel for things than a simple game case would give you.
Download the manual for this game by locating the game on http://marketplace.xbox.com and selecting “See Game Manual”.
The posting also reveals, what Bioware has been stating for a long time to come, that there will be more DLC other than ‘Bring Down the Sky,’ which was only one world for you to explore. The key here is that the text itself refers to multiple worlds, and not juts a single world. This could be simple wordplay, or it could be a confirmation of what is to come.
Download new systems and worlds to visit!
So did anyone actually manage to queue this up and download it? Who is actually excited about the whole Games on Demand service?

I think this is going to rock hardcore! Being able to play games practically whenever you want (with the option to purchase them later) is a great idea.
Think there will be any exclusive only though "GAMES ON DEMAND" type games. I don't think there will be right away… but selling a game only online and cutting out the shipping and the games store probably is pretty appealing.
I'm pretty sure some developers and publishers would be very keen on this…

Games on Demand is awesome I seen the video of them using it open up Mass Effect from inside of BioShock looked slick as hell! The fact that I don't have to go to the store (I hate going to a store and its super busy I can't get my game or they don't have the game I want now thats not a problem) is an added bonus plus not having to go to the Dashboard and switch discs really helps out!

Very cool. I haven't looked in to Games on Demand much, will you be able to play them on other consoles, does it tie to your account?
I'm pretty sure it'll be like DLC and Arcade games. The initial download will tie the Game to a console serial # so you can play it offline on that console, and subsequent downloads on other consoles will be allowed, but only playable if your Gamertag is signed in. Of course, there are some ways of bypassing this if you know what you're doing…
