We’ve been a bit busy today running out maths, and we’ve come up with an interesting prediction. You know that Coral Sea Challenge that EA and DICE are running for Battlefield 1943? The gist is once the game on either XBLA or PSN reaches 43 million kills, it will unlock the 4th map in the game called Coral Sea.  There is a counter on the official site, and we’ve been pulling data periodically from it, and so here’s our prediction:

The Coral Sea Challenge put on by DICE and EA for Battlefield 1943 will complete at 4:27 PM EDT +/- 3 minutes. This is the range from 4:24:00 PM to 4:30:00 PM EDT.

This was pretty hellish to predict. The Challenge could well be over before 4pm as well, depending on how many people get online and rack up kills until then.

Now all there is left to do is play the game and wait. Let’s see how close we are.
