For those of you that have been playing Battlefield 1943, we’re sure you’ve heard of the Coral Sea Challenge. If you haven’t now you will. The Coral Sea Challenge is a community effort put on by EA and DICE. Included in the download of Battlefield 1943 were 4 maps, not only 3 that it might have seemed like when you first started the game. The Challenge itself will unlock the fourth map once each platform (XBLA and PSN) gets to 43 million kills online.  Well, as of writing, the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 1943 has officially unlocked the Coral Sea map, nearly doubling the PS3’s progress towards their challenge. I’ll go out on a limb and say 360 owners are more hardcore. But we all already knew that right?
