Earlier this morning, Turn 10 and Microsoft Game Studios announced some new vehicles for Forza Motorsport 3. In fact, they announced they would be bringing a whole new car segment to the racing brand: sport utility vehicles or SUVs for short. While SUVs are not really known for being from a race-bred heritage, there are quite a few out there that are fast, really fast. And of course, Turn 10 has painstakingly gone through all of them and pick out, of course, the best of the best. Here’s a list of the gas-guzzling, tanks-on-wheels that we mix and mingle with on all roads today, that will be included in Forza 3:
- 2009 Audi Q7 V12 TDI
- 2009 BMW X5 xDrive48i
- 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged
- 2009 Mercedes Benz ML63 AMG
- 2009 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S
- 2008 Touareg R50

Following in the gas-guzzling footsteps of the SUVs are luxury sports cars, and while they do drink gas like never before, they are also significantly quicker in the straight line as well as when letting the back end hang out around corners. And some in here are pretty impressive if you see them on the road.
- 2009 BMW M5 E60
- 2009 Cadillac CTS-V
- 2008 Chrysler 300 SRT-8
- 2009 Jaguar XKR-S
- 2009 Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG Black Edition
- 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP (Isn’t Pontiac a non-existent brand?)

So who thoroughly enjoyed that look? Some of those pictures may even require a double take to make sure they’re not an actual picture of the car!
Note: If you didn’t understand some of the lingo in this post because it was too car-techy jargon, I’m sorry. I did get a tad carried away with giddiness.
